He May Be Leaving Alienware But His Commitment to Improve Gaming Remains Out of this World
Frank Aznor is leaving the company that he has been an important part of since its inauguration back in 1996. He chose to continue working for Alienware even when it was bought by Dell in 2006. It is not clear where he will end up, although the rumour mill is pointing towards a role as Chief Gaming Officer for AMD.
In a series of tweets, Azor states “I’ve been lucky enough to be part of the teams who’ve made [Alienware] and XPS the best brands in the industry, and the customer and community who have supported us have made the last 21 years the ride of my life. The creator in me is now ready for the next challenge.”
He continues, “I’ll be taking a new opportunity to help continue to grow the gaming industry. [Alienware] and [Dell] will always be family, and I know they will continue to deliver the best experiences and products in the industry.”
Currently, Frank Azor serves as the General Manager of Alienware, Gaming, and XPS for Dell. The contract is set to expire on July 3rd, and we can expect to then hear concrete information as to his destination.
