Learn More About Ancient Greece With Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

It took Ubisoft a while but the Discovery Tour mode that came out for 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins finally launched on Tuesday for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey

The combat-free mode aims to teach players more about the game’s ancient Greece setting and it’s free for those who already own the game. The mode can also be purchased separately from the base game for $19.99 USD.

Here’s a rundown of its features, according to Ubisoft:

  • Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece features 5 Tour Guides – Aspasia, Barnabas, Markos, Herodotos, and Leonidas.
  • Interact with more than 300 World stations and 30 Guided tours scattered across 29 regions.
  • Tours cover 5 different themes (philosophy, famous cities, daily life, war, and myths). Test your knowledge with a quiz after the completion of each guided tour and unlock additional avatars.
  • Explore with 35 unique avatars and 15 mounts, accessible by progressing through Discovery Tour objectives.
