A New Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Mode Is Planned for Release
A new game plus mode for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is currently scheduled to launch sometime in February, according to a Thursday tweet from the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account.
“New Game+ is coming this month,” part of the account’s tweet read. The previous entry in the series, Assassin’s Creed Origins, also had a new game plus mode that allowed players to use the items & skills they obtained in another save file for a new game. That version of the mode also had a special award for players who beat the game on new game plus mode.

“One point that’s impossible to argue about Odyssey is that there’s a f***ing lot of it,” the review’s author wrote. “The stream of location discoveries, on screen icons, and notifications makes it feel like you’re in a Vegas casino. You’ll be hitting the inventory screen after almost every encounter thanks to the loot treadmill. The stimulation is constant, and the lack of downtime really works against the experience. By the third or fourth chapter my quest log felt endless, and decision paralysis really started to set in.”
