Bethesda has revealed that the first footage of the new Doom sequel will hit on August 10, the second day of Quakecon.
The game was announced at Bethesda’s E3 conference in June with a CG teaser of Hell breaking loose on Earth. Id Software explained that the first gameplay reveal would come at Quakecon, but now it seems we have an actual date thanks to the Doom Facebook page.
It hearkens back to the last Doom game, where Bethesda showed a trailer exclusive to Quakecon 2014 that was never shown anywhere else. This time, at least, it looks like Bethesda will let the rest of the world see it and not just Quakecon attendees.
