For those of you that may not have been following the news about Rage 2, it’s currently being developed by the makers of the Just Cause and Mad Max series, Avalanche Studios, as well as the makers of DOOM and the first Rage game, id Software. Here’s a little bit more about the game straight from the official website. Dive headfirst into a dystopian world devoid of society, law, and order. RAGE 2 brings together two studio powerhouses – Avalanche Studios, masters of open world insanity, and id Software, creators of the first-person shooter – where you can go anywhere, shoot anything, and explode everything. The wasteland of RAGE 2 is your playground – your very bloody playground – and in a world where there are no rules, insanity rules.”

Rage 2 set to release on May 14th, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The standard edition is priced at $59.99 USD. As it stands right now there has been no word on whether or not the game will make its way to the Nintendo Switch, though it seems like a likely possibility with Bethesda’s propensity to bring their titles to the Switch thus far.
