That’s a Lotta Resurrection Stones!
A recently posted stat sheet that detailed several player statistics for God of War showed that its players have died approximately 690,267,490 times as of August 2018.
The stats also show that 493,240 players were able to 100% or “platinum” the game and that 1.4 million players have fully upgraded Kratos’ Leviathan Axe. Also according to the stats: 828,055 players have completely upgraded Kratos’ son, Atreus aka “Boy”.
However, the most eye-catching stat would have to be the kill/death ratio of one of God of War’s toughest bosses, the Valkyrie queen Sigrun. On the game’s hardest difficulty, titled “Give Me God of War” mode, Sigrun averaged a 100 to 1 K/D ratio against players.
In other GoW news: a new game plus mode was released for the game back in August. The mode carries over the armor sets for both Kratos & Atreus, Kratos’ weapon upgrades, skills, money, XP and stats from a previous save file. It also adds randomized enemy types and a new resource called Skap Slag, which can be used to craft new armor.
