The Upcoming Halo Game Is a Sequel to Halo 5
A job listing for Halo developer 343 Industries is looking for an Online Experience Design Director who can implement microtransactions in what could likely be Halo Infinite.
An “ideal candidate” for the job should have, among other qualities, an “deep understanding of various business models found in both mobile and AAA games.”
The job will also involve implementing “microtransactions and integration of our business plan” in a 343 Industries game and one of the position’s responsibilities is described as such: “Design and deliver a AAA player investment experience that focuses on our fans and their desire to express their passion for our franchise (including but not limited to microtransactions)”.
Though the listing itself doesn’t specifically mention Halo Infinite, the upcoming Halo game is the only officially announced game that 343 Industries is currently developing and the studio has been making nothing but Halo games since 2011.
What do you think about Halo Infinite possibly having microtransactions? Would such a feature be a deal breaker for you? Let us know your thoughts and opinions on this topic in the comments section below.
Halo Infinite will be available on the PC & Xbox One.
