Almost one year after its original release, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is getting a standalone VR edition that ports the entire game to VR on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Moreover, if you own Hellblade on Steam already, or ever do buy it, you will just get the VR edition for free.
The VR edition is the entire single player game with tuned VR controls and effects. You can check out a short video from developers Ninja Theory below where they explain how they solved issues with camera control and framerate.
You can check out our review for the regular, non-VR edition of Hellblade right here. At E3, Microsoft chief Phil Spencer announced that the company had acquired Hellblade developers Ninja Theory as a first-party studio.
