Lost Ark’s Closed Beta Will Be Available in the West Until November 11th

Lost Ark was first revealed to the gaming public in 2014 and has since been described as an exceptionally good-looking ARPG by its fans. It was officially launched after four years, but only to the Korean gaming market. It was only early this year that its Western release was confirmed.

Today marks the first day of Lost Ark’s technical beta for its Western following, where players can sign up to potentially get a code, or purchase one of the early special additions for instant access. The game will be out in the Western gaming market sometime in early 2022 with Amazon Games as its publisher—the game’s original publisher was Smilegate.

Smilegate kicked off Lost Ark’s week-long beta test that has been set to run until November 11th. The closed beta test will feature new islands, dungeons and raids, and other updates, as well as the new Martial Artist Striker subclass.

To obtain access to Lost Ark’s closed beta, players have to go to playlostark.com and pick up a Founder’s Pack, which are going to be available through Steam or Amazon for $15 to $100. The pack will include exclusive titles, pets, in-game supplies, as well as a head start access to the game three days before it officially goes live. Players who do not want to get the pack can also sign up for a chance to be randomly selected for admission.

We are proud to be Smilegate RPG’s partner in the West and have been working tirelessly with them to provide Lost Ark fans with the best game experience possible,” said Amazon Games Vice President Christoph Hartmann. “Players around the world have shown their enthusiasm for Lost Ark.” According to Hartmann, the closed beta will be “a chance for players to experience it for themselves and provide feedback” to their development teams.
