The Economy for the Red Dead Online Beta Has Been Criticized for Being Grindy
After receiving a lot of criticism for how much of the Red Dead Online Beta’s economy encourages grinding, Rockstar promised on Monday that several changes would be coming to the beta in order to make the in-game economy more balanced.
In an official news post, Rockstar stated that their “current areas of focus” included the beta’s economy, which Rockstar says “will require some additional balancing in order to ensure all activities are appropriately rewarding and fun”, and some of the multiplayer beta’s bugs.
“The game has been developed so that we will be able to quickly make any adjustments like these, and we plan to get updates out as early as the end of this week with more updates to come next week,” the news post read. “Feedback from the community has been invaluable, and we will continue to keep you regularly updated as things progress.”
