The Next Total War Game Is No Longer Coming Out in March
The upcoming Total War: Three Kingdoms will no longer come out on March 7th and has been delayed to a May 23rd release date, according to a Monday announcement.
“We’re lucky to be in a position to do the right thing for our games, and in this case, it means taking the time to get everything ready for you,” said Rob Bartholomew, the Studio Brand Director of Total War developer Creative Assembly. “It’s important that we give you a game that you can enjoy to the fullest, and we’re excited for you to see what we have in store.”
This delay announcement is surely a disappointment for Total War fans but at least it sounds like the developers will take this extra time to improve the game.
We recently published a hands-on preview of Total War: Three Kingdoms that had detailed info about the upcoming RTS.
“Total War: Three Kingdoms was a blast to play, and I have been thirsty for more ever since my preview with the game,” the preview’s author wrote. “It’s smooth, exciting and detailed as all hell, and the historical Three Kingdoms focus was a brilliant choice in my opinion.”
