Yoshi’s Crafted World Is Scheduled to Launch Next Year
New gameplay for the upcoming Switch platformer Yoshi’s Crafted World was shown recently. The gameplay video (which can be viewed below) showed off the singleplayer, the two-player co-op gameplay, and two stages.
Here’s the official premise of the game, per Nintendo’s website:
“Lead Yoshi on a brand new adventure that will turn everything you’ve come to expect from side-scrolling games upside down! Explore a great, big world decorated like a miniature diorama in a new art style for the franchise, where each side-scrolling stage has the traditional front side as well as a flip side with different views and surprises. Look for items throughout the stage as Yoshi makes his way to the goal. You can even join up with a friend!”
According to the website, the two-player co-op feature is “simultaneous”.
While a specific release date hasn’t been given yet, Yoshi’s Crafted World is expected to launch sometime in Spring 2019 for the Nintendo Switch. The platformer is being developed by Good-Feel, a developer whose past releases include Kirby’s Epic Yarn and Yoshi’s Wolly World.
